They have always been very accommodating for us.
I can't complain.. it was a lot of work done in a short span of time at a reasonable price.
I took my low mileage 1995 Impala SS (Recent purchase) to them because of recent back surgery and the inability to work on the car myself, and Eli's knowledge of both LT-1 and LS1 powered vehicles.
Just so you're aware, the tune-up labor on an Impala SS of this era is NOT for the faint of heart. (Or the LT-1 engine family in general)
Take care of your ride and it'll take care of you!
Rob and Dawnie
Mahalo Eli and RJ.
Then we drop my wife's Lexus off for service...
Always appreciate their work.
They did do vehicle service while I was there too!
I understood what I was in for so this was a non issue for me. It was about doing it right and making it OCD-compliant.
Replacement oil cooler lines, oil seals and the like were all done. Now it's happy and I'm happy.
The oil leaks weren't helping. (I thought you said this was a low mileage car? It is, and many people forget that when you neglect a car and do not drive it, oil seals dry out and subsequently leak) When I looked at the cars mileage history, up until 2013 the car had logged a mere 39k, this was a red flag. Then the car was driven almost 40k in the next 4 years.
Like I said... It isn't cheap on the labor side, and it isn't cheap on the parts side either... (You can buy aftermarket stuff cheaper than OEM)
Doing it right involves pulling both the harmonic balancer and the water pump and changing the seals for them accordingly.

The name is changing to Auto ER... The owners are still Eli and RJ and the quality of the work is still the same.. top notch.
You may want to consider replacement of the water pump if you don't know it's history. I always use AC Delco replacement for these.
It was in need of some love. It obviously wasn't running quite right when I got it. Parts ordered they took care of it in relatively short order. This distributor cap and rotor were both in bad shape, which was the root of the problem.
