I've been using WIC since my son was born 7 months ago. They have been very accommodating with appointment cancellations and rescheduling due to work. They even allowed my husband to go to a class instead of me because something had come up at work. The majority of the staff is very kind and caring, however; there is always going to be a bad apple in a group of people. So don't bundle them up as a whole.
I went here while I was pregnant with my first born till he was a little over two years old. As long as you fallow through on your part the workers do their best to do theirs. Overall I've had a good experience at the leeward wic program
I called them two times last week both times I was told I would receive a phone call. I never did when I got a hold of someone they lied and said they left me a voicemail. I have an iPhone I looked and I never saw a voicemail from them. Avoid this location if you can. No one likes to deal with unhonest people
Good other then them answering the phone they dont answer the phone ever I was told they only answer phones when not in classes witch I really dont understand why when we in classes none of the workers are in the room we sit an watch video the front desk person is there to check in people an answer the phones but never do they answer I needed to reschedule my app I spent all day trying to get someone on the phone witch in fact I never talked to anyone so I had to keep my app -- really bad phone serivce other then that its okay place
