Wanting to try more Filipino food before leaving the island we checked out Shay's. A little corner restaurant with delicious comfort food! We had squid Adobe, fried chicken, lechon and lumpia. It was comfort food at heart. They don't skip out and the flavours are for real. Everything was made fresh, so it took a minute to come out but it was worth it.
Awsome place to eat and the ladies that work theare the people in the world!
Had takeout tonight. The pork intestines were crunchy, but were so bland! All you taste was the oil used to fry them. The chicken tinola broth was also bland. I had to add my own seasoning at home. Cooking these dishes should not reach failure of epic proportions. It's not like Filipino cooking is complicated. I don't get the hype.

Visiting from Canada and was looking for fresh and signature dishes from the Philippines and we found this place! The food was amazing and so flavourful! Serving size was pretty good for what you pay, service was great too! Will be back!
