This place has retail prices, which is a shame really Because because I was looking forward to head turning sales. I always wore Converse and I was looking to getting a fresh pair of Vans. It's just too bad the prices are the same as the Converse Shoe Store across the way.
What a JOKE! We visited today 8/10/2014. My son tried on some flip flops, wanted to walk in them but they were attached together with an anti-theft cord. The girl said she couldn't remove the cord then walked off for a bit while he shuffled the best he could to see if they fit. She couldn't remove the device.... or wouldn't, whatever happened to service??? We purchased despite the help, and that was yet another story, FIVE "kids" were there working that I counted, yes five, and yes kids. I'm guessing that the days workforce here were all probably under eighteen years old, and that wasn't a big deal but the fact that the store had a dozen or more people there and one line open was a joke, especially when I stood in line for fifteen minutes behind ONE person to get checked out, and that was while Roy (a worker) leaned against a wall doing nothing other than looking "cool" and Mary (another worker) tried to look busy at the counter while she didn't do anything either. I guess they weren't trained or trusted to run a cash register as the line to be checked out grew? I won't be back, the service was non-existent, the prices were the same as a regular store and really, the owners should get their behinds there to help the people buying their products and let the children they have working for them have their Sunday off. A comedy of errors on Vans part. The only reason they got one star was because I couldn't leave 0!
I got my PRETTY flower shoes from here, and I ♥ it!
Busy with malahini. Watch the sale signs and be sure you're getting a pair that qualifies for bogo or the discount - it's not marked too clearly in my experience. Cheap prices compared to Waikiki, but you can find cheaper.
Only got "kids' working. Can't tell who's a worker cause they're all in regular clothes, no lanyards or anything to tell them apart from regular customers unless they're behind the counter. The music was very offensive, singing about male body parts and sexual demeanor. Wanted my teenage son to pick his birthday shoes and leave!
