It was very busy today. Christopher did his best. This is not one of my favorite places to eat. On a happier note, our birthday member enjoyed her slab of ribs, taking half home to enjoy later.
I was dining with my husband last night we ordered calamari for appetizer and when our server came back for our drinks he said I will be right back with the blooming onions , I immediately say we ordered calamari he rushed back in the kitchen to change it. We got our food on time, about two minutes after a bite our server came back drenched dripping sweat I look up drip on my face I turn right away to wipeout I noticed he moved back. I was very hungry when I got there but after I was not able to eat! .he stop a few times asking how we're doing then the manager I was holding back to say something because we were tired and hungry but unable to eat my food. When he gave us our ticket he charged us an order of blooming onions and calamari. He said that was our old order but we are not charged I have to asked him to go get us a new ticket for the right order! I was very disappointed! We like this place but is going to be awhile before coming back ! Total bill was $62. and my husband still gave him tip! Poor service!!!
The whipped butter is not good anymore, it doesnt melt on your bread, it might not even be butter it all! Me and my family are a big fan of bread and butter but this stuff just sticks around our lips like sticky shortening.
The blooming onion is good but we would like to encourage them to sell maybe half blomming onion so we can finish it, we always leave half and the appetizer that has some petals is just to little for us. Oh well, like I said, hopefully they try to fix these issues soon, we would be sad if they dont! Please, make it worth the price that by the way is little high; similar to italian restaurant Assagios but this other one is great!
So there I was minding my own business eating fries then my daughter says, "there's a bug by you". And what do you know Ray the ROACH was trying to partake with my family and I. That's not the crazy part.. once we notify our server she reacted in such a calm manner it was almost as if she KNEW THEY HAD ROACHES and it was NORMAL! She got in the booth behind us and started looking for it, with the intent to kill him, while asking if we would like boxes for our food to go.. sorry ma'am that would be a negative.
We dine at this restaurant a lot! And we almost always find good service but not all the food is good.
The mack and cheese is almost plain, they literally just put some cheese on the flavorless pasta, unlike the other super salty foods, this one is flavorless. It would be nice to serve some saucy mack and cheese to my daughters. At least the broccoli is good, not overcooked or completely raw.
Lunch for 12 today. My grilled asparagus was cold, whipped butter did not melt on it. Not worth the 5.99. friend had chicken & vegetable (broccoli), a mini piece of chicken was served first, then half hour later server brought out another little pice of chicken, with an explanation of why the first piece was so small. Sadly, we did not understand the explanation. The broccoli looked like it needed a sauce, but another server told her that the broccoli was cooked in butter ( as if that negated the need for a sauce or dressing).
Didn't have half items I ordered from their own menu.. didn't serve secret menu available on main land... Wanted to upcharge on "cup of butter" for mashed potatoes ... as seasoned as other outback.. rare was barely pink.. go to other local steakhouses for better meals
The food is super salty most of the time, hopefully they check on these reviews and fix it. I talked to the server but I dont think she went back to the chef or manager to get it fixed.
